I enjoy wonderful scenic walks with my Cairn Terrier, Abigail. There are lots of lovely dog-friendly walks near me. In rural Devon, I am spoilt for choice when it comes to places to walk.
I can walk over rolling hills and valleys. Wonder in shady woodlands carpeted with Bluebell and wild Garlic.
Meandering along soothing rivers with sunlight sparkling on the rippled surface. Watching the trout in the water and swallow swooping down after insects.
The coastal paths are quite stunning with scenic views of dramatic cliffs and bright blue seas below. There are also some pretty seaside towns to visit.
One of my favourite walks that combines the River Otter and the Southwest coastal path is a circular route from Otterton to Budleigh Salterton. It has the most spectacular view and scenery.
There are pebble heathlands that stretch for miles and are a haven for wildlife.
I can explore endless new route and return to the walks I love.
I have shared some photos of my favourite scenic walk. I hope that you enjoy them.
